Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable:

- Supervise and manage the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor and subcontractor payments
- Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reporting
Construction Contracts & Compliance:

- Review construction contracts to ensure compliance with legal and financial requirements
- Obtain necessary project bonding for projects as required
- Prepare and file periodic state filings in accordance with regulations
Audits & Reporting:

- Prepare and manage various audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage general ledger entries and maintain accurate financial records
Financial Analysis & Reporting:

- Analyze financial data and generate reports to provide insights into the company’s financial performance
- Assist the CFO in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial projections
- Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis
Education/Skills and Specifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business or related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in financial management, preferably within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
