Rock Drill Operator/Blasting Laborer

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Be able to follow all Company or site-specific safety rules
  • Drill rock using hydraulic drills on construction and rock quarry sites
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and drilling equipment
  • Be aware of, and alert company maintenance personnel to, the need for repairs and maintenance of equipment beyond routine care
  • Complete necessary equipment pre- and post-operation inspections, drill logs and workplace exam paperwork per company policy
  • Interpret and use grade designs for quarry development.
  • Assist with blasting operations

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Performs heavy manual labor including, digging, lifting, climbing, carrying and installation

Concrete Carpenter

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Be able to follow all Company or site-specific safety rules
  • Build/place/brace/align handset concrete forms
  • Inspect formwork to ensure correct installation
  • Place and finish concrete. Trowel finish & broom finish
  • Install rebar reinforcement for concrete foundations
  • Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, using float to bring water to surface and produce soft topping
  • Level, smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete using straightedge and float or power screed
  • Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or chisel and hammer and patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound
  • Strip and clean forms. Patch stripped concrete

  • Perform repairs on equipment and vehicles, including but not limited to, diesel and gasoline engines, electrical systems, air brakes, hydraulic brakes, hydraulic systems, automatic transmissions and clutches, suspension systems and computer control systems.
  • Perform welding repairs and fabrication to various types of equipment
  • Perform engine tune-ups
  • Repair/replace tires
  • Record materials used and time spent on repairs
  • Overhaul engines, both diesel and gasoline, to required specifications
  • Use shop tools and testing or diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform routine servicing and make minor repairs to vehicles and other equipment

    Over The Road Truck Driver

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a logbook to record miles covered and hours travelled, and ensure that all necessary documentation with respect to freight is filled out and submitted
    • Record damages and shortages incurred. In addition, make sure that all receipts are kept safe and secure
    • Observe and comply with all traffic regulations – federal, state, and local
    • Inspect assigned vehicle regularly to identify and repair minor faults, and to report major mechanical breakdown to our shop manager
    • Assist in the loading and unloading of goods or equipment to be transported
    • Communicate with the dispatcher, supervisor, or clients using wireless devices or onboard computer systems
    • Ensure safe transportation and delivery of freight to designated locations
    • Report any delay that may affect the timely delivery of freight to the dispatcher and client
    • Pay tolls and other necessary vehicle levies
    • Immediately report any traffic violations, road accidents, and damage to the freight to the dispatcher and Safety Director
